WASHINGTON POST NEWS RELEASE:

TOMS RIVER, N.J. -- Dozens of parents whose children have cancer agreed to monetary settlements with the two chemical companies and a water company they blame for polluting their water, their lawyers said Thursday. Union Carbide, Ciba Specialty Chemicals, and United Water Toms River agreed to pay an undisclosed amount of money to 69 families. The companies did not admit liability.
